We are very proud of the results that our children attain throughout their time at Mount Stewart Infant School, which culminate in tremendous Year 2 SATs achievements.  We invest a lot of time and effort through a fun, engaging and varied curriculum to ensure that all children achieve their best and so preparing them for their future at secondary school and beyond.

At the end of KS1, statutory assessments (SATS) are administered and used alongside on going teacher assessment to make an end of key stage assessment for each child.

In the Foundation Stage there is an on going assessment for Reception and Nursery children based on adult observation. In the classroom, teachers continually assess and monitor children’s progress keeping careful records of pupils’ attainment.
