Challenge Partners

Mount Stewart Infant School is a member of Challenge Partners.

They are a national charity, owned and led by schools, who work together to lead school improvement. At Mount Stewart, we are committed to continually developing every area of the school to give children the very best learning opportunities throughout their time with us. Being a member of Challenge Partners helps us by giving us: annual reviews carried out by a team of reviewers to validate the school’s judgments and challenge us to be even better, access to a range of support from fellow member schools, and a focus for collaboration with other local member schools to drive improvements for all of our children.

We are part of the Chrysalis hub and work closely with other local schools including Claremont High School, Sudbury Primary, Kingsbury Green Primary, Uxingdon Manor, and Salusbury Primary.

Our first review was carried out by Challenge Partners in March 2019.  The report can be accessed below.  Our review this year highlighted our leading practice in Leadership and School Improvement Strategies.  We are also very proud to have been accredited with an Area of Excellence in The Power of Professional Practice.
